Q: Where do I buy school uniforms?

A: Uniforms can be purchased at RC Uniforms and Embroidery, located at 11160 Beach Blvd. #126 in the St. John’s Square II Shopping Center.  904-646-0493

Q: If my child forgot his/her lunch box, P.E. bag, text book or other school materials, can I bring the item(s) to his/her class?

A: We try to limit classroom disruptions.  We realize that forgetting items can be upsetting to a child.  Therefore, the school provides a table outside the main office for you to leave any necessary school items for your child.  Please make sure that their first and last name and homeroom are clearly marked on the item so that your child can easily spot their belonging(s).  When a child does forget an essential item, the teacher normally allows the student to check the table to see if a parent has dropped it off at the school.

Q: When are PTO meetings?

A: The dates are posted on our school calendar.

Q: What are the social events during the school year?

A: There is a wide variety of activities for all family members throughout the school year.  We have a Fall Festival, an Advent Program, and our Annual Auction just to name a few.  Please visit our school calendar and the PTO page under “Concern for Others” to see our full calendar.

Q: What is the morning drop-off procedure?

A: A child may be dropped off beginning at 7:15 am and until 7:40 am near the school’s gym.  Please do not park your car in carline and get out of your vehicle.  Someone will be available to help your child if necessary.  At 7:45 am, a child is considered tardy and will require a parent to come to the front office and sign the student in.

Q: Can a parent walk a child to his/her classroom?

A: It is preferred that all families, K-8, use the carline to make traffic flow smoothly.  However, if you choose to walk your child to class, you must park and cross at the safety-patrolled crosswalk near the gym.  Pre-Kindergarten parents may park on the side of the Church nearest the gym and escort their child to the classroom.

Q: What time do I pick-up my child from a normal school day?

A: Students in K-4 are ready for pick-up at 2:30 pm.  You can enter the Church parking lot from the western entrance (closest to Deermeadows Baptist Church).  Please make sure that your carline sign is visible to the volunteers so that they may call your family name as efficiently as possible.  If you have students in grades  5-8, they are dismissed at 2:50 pm.  Your pick-up time is dependent on the oldest child in your car pool.
