Volunteer Opportunities:

• Volunteers are needed to help set up for the Sports Banquet and to help clean up afterwards. Volunteers will receive double credit for hours.
• Volunteers are needed to assist with lunch duty this month.

Important End of Year Reminders from Nurse Jessica:

• Medications:  If your child has medication at the school, PLEASE make arrangements to pick it up on or before the last day of school; EpiPens and frequently-used inhalers need to be picked up on the last day of school Wednesday, June 1^st.
• Immunizations:  Although I enjoy and accept ALL immunization forms, the grades I am MOST INTERESTED in for the 2016 - 2017 school year are the upcoming 7th grade students, the Kindergarten students, and ALL new students including ALL Pre-K students (both the 3 and 4 year old programs). These grades REQUIRE certain shots mandated by the State of Florida; reminders (to current students) were sent home today in Friday folders. If you have your child’s immunization form already updated, please consider dropping it off in the front office before the last day of school. Immunization forms are due Monday, August 1^st which is also the date of our FREE school physicals (see below).
• Sports Physicals:  Parents PLEASE start planning now! If your child is interested in doing a sport for the 2016 - 2017 school year (this includes intramurals) then a sports physical is required dated after June 1, 2016 (This is NOT the same as Duval County School’s physical form). Our sports physical forms may be obtained either in the front office or from our website under “athletics.” In addition, St. Vincent’s Mobile Health Unit will be at our school providing FREE school physicals, sports physicals, and immunizations; Maria Petrotta (Bless Her!) will also be available during this time to notarize the sports physicals (also FREE!).
