Congratulations to the Varsity Soccer Team for their 4:0 win against St. Joseph Catholic School in the tournament semi-finals yesterday. Wildcats will play Assumption in coming up soon.

Mega Money Payment Reminder: Each family received 4 tickets to sell for this year’s Mega Money Raffle fundraiser back in November. The final payment is due no later than this Friday, January 29 ^th. The event will be February 6 ^th from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Deerwood Country Club.

There are two open practices for Girls’ Softball coming up soon. Try out dates will be finalized a week before the open practices. If you are interested in playing or trying out for softball it is advised to come to at least one if not both open practices. Interested students please visit Ms. Miller’s classroom at your earliest convenience and let her know. If parents have any questions or concerns feel free to contact Makenzie Miller at [email protected]. A notarized sports physical dated on or after June 1, 2015 is required to participate; forms are available online or in the school office.

Our regularly scheduled Dress Down Day will not be on Friday, February 5 ^th. A special buddy team dress down day is scheduled for Wednesday, February 3 ^rd as part of Catholic School’s Week. Please note that all students should be in regular school uniform, Friday, February 5 ^th, for Grandparents Day.

Mr. Kovarik is seeking interested Holy Family community members to serve on the Safety and Facilities Subcommittee of the School Advisory Board. Persons with background in facilities management, public safety, law enforcement, and construction related occupations are encouraged to contact Mr. Kovarik. The Subcommittee regularly meets once every 9 weeks but hopes to meet 3 times before the end of this school year in the evenings.
