We are celebrating Catholic Schools Week (CSW) this week. A schedule of events is available for complete details.

The Soccer All Conference Game is coming up soon at Holy Spirit. Players are to wear their school uniforms. Madilyn, Alex, and Daniel will represent Holy Family.

There are open practices for Girls’ Softball coming up soon. If you are interested in playing or trying out for softball it is advised to attend. Interested students please visit Ms. Miller’s classroom at your earliest convenience and let her know. If parents have any questions or concerns feel free to contact Makenzie Miller at [email protected]. A notarized sports physical dated on or after June 1, 2015 is required to participate; forms are available online or in the school office.

Coach Maher is announcing the start of her Spring Girls’ Basketball Skills Intermural Program. If you are interested in participating or have any questions, you can email Coach Maher. This year’s Mega Money Raffle will be February 6 ^th from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. at Deerwood Country Club. Your RSVP to [email protected] is essential this year.

Note From School Nurse: There have been several cases of head lice discovered in our school over the past couple of weeks. The students involved are all fine with certificates to attend school, but please be on the look-out for any “itchy heads” in your household.

If you discover your child has head lice and/ or nits you will need to seek treatment. The shampoo treatments can be found at any local drugstore. As another alternative, there are companies who remove all lice and nits using a non-chemical approach. Parents are encouraged to discuss the selection of treatment with their child’s physician.
