February is Dental Health Month. The Pre-K and K classes will be visited by a dental hygienist from “Safari of Smiles” tomorrow. Nurse Jessica will also visit the 1st and 2nd grade classes this Friday and next week to discuss the importance of dental hygiene.

Yearbook Order Forms are due by Friday, February 19 ^th. If you have not already purchased one and would still like to buy a yearbook, please complete the form and return it to school with your payment of $40.00 by Friday, February 19. Don’t miss out! Boys’ Softball Tryouts are coming up soon. Tryouts are open for students in grades 5 through 8. A notarized sports physical dated on or after June 1, 2015 is required to participate; forms are available online or in the school office.

We are also looking for a Boys’ Softball assistant coach at this time. If you have an interest or recommendation to make, please email both Mr. De Maio and Athletic Director, Coach Piotr Kaszuba ( [email protected]).

Nature Club for students in grades 2 through 5 is beginning! The first meeting is coming up soon. The Nature Club is a great way for students to learn about our beautiful world and how to care for it. Students will participate in fun nature themed activities. Snacks will be provided. If interested, please sign up.

Nurse Jessica is in need of 4 parent volunteers to help with the school’s annual “Health Screening Day.” Testing will take place in the school gym and no prior experience is necessary. Your main role will be for “crowd control.” Volunteers must have completed the “Protecting God's Children” class and the required background screening.
