HFCS Daily Announcement

In February, the Holy Family Astronomical Society (HoFAS) represented Holy Family and the State of Florida through the Sally Ride EarthKAM program. EarthKAM stands for Earth Knowledge Acquired by Middle school students. Students requested images of our planet taken from the International Space Station (ISS). This year, we created a contest to choose the best pictures taken by HoFAS members during the mission. Congratulations to Matt M., Conner S., Mikayla S., Daniel B., and Jackson P. for the great pictures they took during the mission. See the HoFAS section of our website for pictures.

There is a presentation for parents regarding Cyber Safety for our children given by Agent Eric Francisconi of the FBI coming up soon.. Students 5 – 8 will receive a presentation during the school day.

Information regarding the upcoming Father Daughter Dance will be going home in this week’s Friday Folders. The event will take place soon at Deerwood Country Club.
